Harn Construction Co. was founded in 1993 by the principals of a former $15 million per year northern Illinois construction firm. Originally formed to concentrate on masonry subcontracting, we quickly found our niche in the familiar general contracting scope while still specializing in masonry. The transition to general contracting has been very successful.

     In less than six years, Harn Construction has climbed to an annual volume of approximately $10 million. We currently contract projects of any size up to approximately $5 million and this figure is still growing. We concentrate on commercial, institutional, and governmental projects. A great deal of our time and energy is spent establishing and servicing our growing number of repeat clients. We are engaged in construction projects, general maintenance, and remodeling work with such firms as Honeywell – Micro Switch and Newell Companies. Currently, our major jobs include several commercial projects in the $500,000 to $2 million range.
